Team Velocity
Washingtons Most successful Sport Taekwondo Program.
We at Velocity Taekwondo have worked very hard to create a World Class competition program. When Danielle Pelham won the 2009 World Championships Velocity was elevated to one of the Nations most elite programs. Velocity has put athletes at USA team trials every year since 2004 with a number of atletes winning those trials. These trials include USA Senior team trials, USA Collegiate team trials, USA Jr. team trials, U-24 team trials and AAU team trials.
One or more members of team Velocity have been on a team every year. Very few programs in the USA have been as sucessful, but as the saying goes that was yesterday. Velocity has continued to work hard to continue this trend. We have moved our program to a new location that will give our athletes a better facility to train in. Two full size rings and a complete weightlifting area will let our athletes train under the best conditions.
Velocity Brawls
Velocity Brawls are open to the public. $25 per athlete
Throughout the year Velocity Taekwondo will be hosting tournament style fights. Anyone who desires to come and get in some sparring will be welcome. The scoring system will be the Lajust system.
Our new location has two full size rings with monitors for each ring and the newest Lajust equipment. Call 425-656-1239 or e-mail for more information.
Competition Training
Velocity Taekwondo gives our competition team every advantage to compete at a high level. The athletes of team velocity are among the best in the country and therefore have the advantage of always training with the best. We have proven programs for strength, conditioning and nutrition. We have contacts within the medical field that help our athletes with injury recovery so that our athletes come back at full strength.
